Privacy Policy
This is a placeholder Privacy Policy for Clipper. Replace it with counsel-approved text before accepting real customers.
Clipper processes the videos you upload or link to in order to generate clips, stores them for a limited time, and publishes to the social accounts you connect only when you ask it to. Social access tokens are encrypted at rest and you can disconnect any account at any time from the Accounts page.
Free trial without an account
You can try Clipper without signing up. We store: a random token in a cookie (no name or email); the video you give us, the clips we make and any social account you choose to connect, all deleted 24 hours after you start (connected accounts' access is revoked at that point); and a one-way hash of your network address, which we keep for 7 days only to limit abuse of the free trial (we cannot turn it back into your address). Our web servers do not log your network address for trial starts. If you sign up first, your clips move into your new account instead.
